Technology marketer Alison Durant has been awarded the Chief Marketing Officer of the Year title by the Mass Technology Leadership Council. Durant, CMO at collaboration services provider LogMeIn scooped the award for her innovation and team leadership skills at the Boston, USA headquartered technology provider.
The Mass Technology Leadership Council is a forum for the state of Massachuttes' vibrant technology community that is home to the likes of Schneider. This was the 22nd year of the awards.
CEO of LogMeIn Bill Wagner, himself a winner at the awards, said CMO Durant has the "talent that's needed to foster innovation within our marketing organisation".
Durant has been a marketing leader for 25 years and in her career has held corporate and global marketing roles with major vendors including database and business software provider Oracle. The technology marketing leader joined LogMeIn in August 2015 from Oracle, where she had risen to Senior Director for Global Marketing.
"I'm humbled to be recognized by the Mass Technology Leadership Council as the Chief Marketing Officer of the Year Award," Durant said. "This acknowledgement is a testament to the efforts of the hundreds of marketing employees across our global department, as well as the go-to-market teams we support. As CMO at LogMeIn Durant and her team market over a dozen different product lines. LogMeIn also won the Company of the Year and CEO of the Year accolades.
The Mass Technology Leadership Council has 450 member companies ranging from major technology service providers to entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.
